Investiture of Dame Brigid Weir

On Saturday 7th October, Bishop Tom celebrated Mass at our church in Mornington during which he conferred Brigid Weir with the title of Dame of the Order of St. Sylvester. A most enjoyable occasion, we congratulate Dame Brigid on her award.

Ordination of Peter O'Sullivan SJ

We send our congratulations and best wishes to Fr. Peter O'Sullivan SJ who was ordained a priest by Cardinal Vincent Nichols on 29th July in Farm Street Church in London. Peter is the grandson of the late Larry and Patricia Flynn, Bettystown.

Arrival of Fr. Ciprian Solomon:

Fr. Ciprian will begin his ministry in our parish on 1st July

Fr. Ciprian is originally from Bacău in Romania in the diocese of Iasi. He came to Ireland in September 2016. Initially he worked as a curate in Mullingar before being appointed to the parish of Clara & Horseleap in Co. Offaly. Since 2019 he has been a curate in St. Mary’s, Drogheda.
