The Season of Lent runs from Ash Wednesday to the Easter Triduum

THINGS TO DO FOR LENT
BAPTISED AND SENT
Each Friday during Lent members of the Parish Pastoral Council
will facilitate a simply structured opportunity for prayer, Gospel reflection and conversation.
There will be various themes for each week, such as belonging, healing, renewal, and mission. These flow from Baptised and Sent’
which calls us to see baptism as the “entry point to a life of faith,
a gateway to mission,
and the root and foundation on which to build a Christian life”
These gatherings will be held in the parochial house
straight after the 10.15 Mass on Fridays during Lent
beginning on 20th February and everyone is welcome.
They will last about 40 minutes
and there will be a cup of tea/coffee afterwards should you wish.
Looking forward to seeing you there.
Come along and give it a try.

Trócaire:
Lent is a time when we offer both prayerful and financial support to those who live in poverty.
Trócaire boxes are available at the church. Please take one home with you and place it in a prominent place in your home. Bring your offerings back to the Church on Holy Thursday or over Easter Week.
